Not everyone has this behavior, but many display it to one degree or another. I think the most adamant in this behavior are a) convinced that some evil will happen when others are not convinced OR b) are attempting to irrationally control other people. Just my opinion, from therapy done with clients.

I think it is somewhat natural, but it is important that we keep an open mind to many different things and be a good listener. The ability to comfortably change an opinion based on new knowledge or information is an excellent attribute.

It is because we were created by God with unique thoughts and beliefs, though we tend to forget that so are other human beings.

There is no "universe." What there is - is an infinite and yet expanding MULTIVERSE.
So while someone's "reality" may be real enough - there is no objective reality, but multiple ones.
There are, however, universal truths.
